Sweet Vibrations Motorcycle Club is Atlanta’s latest edition to the women’s motorcycle
scene. Started in 2003 by Val Acree (Stinger V), Simone Bell (SPEAK), Karen Wood
(Special K) and Jena Jones, Sweet V is made up of professional African American Women
who ride all types of motorcycles from sport bikes to cruisers to touring bikes. Sweet
Vibrations is a motorcycle riding club for women grounded within a framework of sisterhood.
We are committed to safety, continued education and full enjoyment of the motorcycling
experience. We believe both in safety of the individual and the collective group and are
dedicated to sharing our knowledge of all aspects of motorcycle riding. Sweet V prides itself
in riding safely at all times.

Participating in community service and fund raiser rides are important to the group. Since
its inception, Sweet V has supported rides for Katrina hurricane victims, Georgia Blue
Knights, 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Next Level MC, Risque Ladies MC and Atlanta’s annual
Black Gay Pride Parade. In the past year, Sweet V has
rolled out on some fun rides too. Our fun rides have taken us on tours in and around
Atlanta as well as through the north Georgia mountains, coastal Savannah, historic
Charleston, SC and Alabama. Throughout the year, we plan rides for beginner as well
as experienced riders so that all levels of riders can participate. As our membership grows,
we are looking forward to rolling out to even more places with planned rides for all
experience levels.

So, if you’re a woman living or visiting the Atlanta area and want to get your ride on,
contact us at
sweetvibrationsmc@yahoo.com. All experience levels are welcome.
