Jennifer Robertson Born: August 22, 1978 Birthplace: Terre Haute, Indiana

My parents & my older brother all live in Corpus Christi, Texas. They all enjoy riding motorcycles…yes, that includes my Mom too!  My Brother races stock cars and won the track championship in 2005 at Corpus Christi Speedway.  Luckily my family is very supportive of my racing career! When I was 6 years old Santa Claus brought me a Honda 50 for Christmas. At 5:00 a.m. that morning I started riding and I haven’t stopped since. I rode dirt bikes until about 4 years ago, when I bought my very first street bike, a 2000 YZF R6. At that time I began riding with Dangerous Curves, an all female riding group, who introduced me to the sport of motorcycle drag racing. Within a few months of racing I broke the female record for quarter mile on a street-bike in the State of Hawaii.  My best time on the R6 was 10.74 seconds.  I soon found out that guys on Hayabusa’s and 1000’s weren’t real happy when they lost by a full second to a girl on a 600cc bike! 10 seconds just wasn’ t fast enough for me so when another racer, Sheldon Tokuda, asked if I wanted to ride his 2001 GSX-R1000 I took him up on the offer. On my 3rd pass I ran a 9.9 on a bike I had never even ridden before. I bought his bike 2 weeks later!  My best time on the GSX-R was 9.23 at 147 mph, and it is still the fastest quarter mile time for a female on a street bike in Hawaii.  In the spring of 2004 I won the Cycle City Bike Shootout and placed 2nd in a later shootout.  In May of 2004 I was awarded best reaction time of .507 at a Pro Gas event in the Super Pro Class.  In October of 2004 I placed 2nd in the race for Breast Cancer Awareness.   I recently purchased a 2005 Hayabusa and moved to Texas where I set a female track record of 9.45 at San Antonio Raceway.  At my first racing event in Texas I placed 1st in a 600/750/unlimited female shootout & placed 2nd in a Street ET bracket race. I have 17 race events scheduled this year, and am currently looking for sponsors to help me meet my racing goals.
