Editorial Mission Statement
True Rider magazine is written for the woman motorcycle enthusiast and contains
information about motorcycles and riding blended with wide-ranging feature stories,
entertainment, and safety. True Rider road tests will focus on enthusiast bikes that are
exciting to ride and engineered to the unique needs of the woman rider, covering a gamut
of imports and domestics from sport bikes to Harley Davidson’s in terms of performance,
handling, ergonomics, and design efficiency. In addition True Rider will present technical
features on motorcycle subjects, nostalgic feature articles, humor and fiction, and
analyses of industry trends, along with travel stories, book reviews, and coverage of
national events. Issues will include product upgrades, travel planning, and other features
ranging from cooking tips to vehicle maintenance. True Rider will also provide actionable
news, easy-to-follow advice, and motivating ideas.

True Rider’s focus is to bring the world of motorcycling to the female rider – experienced,
inexperienced or novice. The traditionally male dominated sport will now be brought to
the forefront via specific venues: clothing, gear, maintenance and a host of other needs.

Female riders, “mom riders”, old and young alike will enjoy this specially targeted
medium.
